Social Services Work
Each year, we help many resident's throughout the Tazewell County area with basic needs such as food, clothing, rent, utilities, car repairs, gasoline, bus tickets, public transportations, shelter and much more. Each month, we provide assistance to an average of 500 individuals.

Fema Phase 30 Application
Emergency Food and Shelter Program
The EFSP is a restricted federal grant designed to provide supplemental funds for agencies that provide supportive services for the hungry and homeless. An electronic copy of the application is preferred. If the application is handwritten, then please do not staple it or include additional blank pages that do not apply to your application. Be sure to also attach a copy of your agency’s 501 c 3 non-profit status. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. Applications are preferably emailed, but can be hand-delivered or mailed to the following address but must be received by Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 12pm.
We are providing several ways for you to complete and submit your Fema Phase 30 application. All methods are based on the same application. Please call (309) 346-3010 if you have questions or need guidance.
Method 1 - Download Application
For those who plan on printing and writing their application by hand. Once complete, please mail or deliver to Pekin Salvation Army at 243 Derby Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
Method 2 - Download Application
For those who plan on using the computer to type information but have an older version of Microsoft Word. Once complete, please print and mail or deliver to Pekin Salvation Army at 243 Derby Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
