The Salvation Army receives generous gift from anonymous donors

Donations in The Salvation Army's kettles in Pekin and Morton will be matched the
next two weekends thanks to a generous gift from some anonymous donors. "Just this past Tuesday, we were looking at numbers for the campaign and realized we really have to have some great kettle days to meet our goal," said Captain Rick Ray. "And that very same afternoon, we received an $8,000 dollar donation. We asked the donors if we could use it as a kettle match and they said yes, so here we are," said Ray. Read More ...
