The Pekin Salvation Army will host it's 4th annual 5k run & walk on Saturday, May 4. All proceeds will benefit the Pekin Salvation Army's youth programs and activities. The Army's Child Care Center offers a safe, Christian environment for children. The need for these programs and activities in the local area is huge. But we need your help. Register for our 5k and help make a difference in a child's life today!
Check-in opens at 6:00 am
Run starts at 7:00 am
Walk starts at 8:00 am

Coal Miners' Park is located just south of Parkview Golf Course on Parkway Drive in Pekin. Entrance is located just across from Stadium Drive.

Course Description
The paved course is within Coal Miners' Park. Course markers will be posted during the Run & Walk.
Age Divisions
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
Awards (5k Run Only)
- Overall top Male and Female
- First three places for both Male and Female in the following age groups:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available for pickup Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, at the Pekin Salvation Army, 243 Derby St., Pekin, IL, (309) 346-3010.
FREE Blood Pressure Screenings
Provided by Methodist Wellmobile
6:00 am-10:00 am
Post Race Activities
Awards will be handed out. Drink and snacks provided.
